I go to people’s homes discreetly, making an effort to inspire empathy that puts everyone at ease.

In the meantime, I will do my best to prepare the menu, set the table, serve the dishes, describe them and pair them with the indicated wine if it is appreciated and previously agreed.

I will collect everything myself and leave the place as I found it.

Essere accolti da Davide nella sua baita significa calarsi in un tempo sospeso dove ogni portata accompagna lo sguardo sognante dal Sasso della Croce al Lagazuoi. Assaporarne i piatti nel suo regno magico è un privilegio perché tocchi con mano la superba qualità della materia prima e la cura maniacale dell’impiattamento. Il filetto di cervo cotto nel fieno così come il gelato al fieno Edelweiss rimarranno nella memoria come simboli di quella cucina alpina la cui fama Norbert ha reso mondiale.

A unique experience we’ll never forget!

Cooking with Davide in his mountain hut was the highlight of our Dolomites vacation. Our kids, aged 12 and 14, loved learning to make fresh pasta, and the food was incredible. A unique and authentic experience we’ll never forget!

I experienced a wonderful day

My three sons aged 28yo, 25yo and 19yo and I experienced a wonderful day with Davide in his delightful family hut. After a short hike to the hut we were welcomed by Davide who speaks fluent English. His incredible hospitality started with delicious local canapés and sparkling wine. We had requested a lesson cooking risotto and Davide brought us through each step with detailed instructions and explanations.  The result was the most delicious risotto any of us had ever eaten accompanied of course with great local wine. Davide is also a wealth of knowledge of local history, nature and produce which we all loved hearing about.  Davide is charming, incredibly knowledgeable and a wonderful chef. I couldn’t recommend any experience with him highly enough.
